KIRSTYN SMITH

Kirstyn has had an interest in production design for longer than she has realised, starting with stage setting and prop gathering for theatre performances. She has had an interest in sets that aren't just modern, giving her the opportunity to research and explore vintage and historic elements but also has an interest in delivering meaning through set design. She believes that production design is able to tell its own story, and when used correctly, can elevate a film to new heights.

SAM ZHAO

Since "The Terminal" came out in 2004, Sam's solitary dream has been to become a filmmaker. The way that different directors and editors can turn mundane or everyday situations into something fantastic has been an interest of his. Sam started by creating videos for YouTube in 2009, using the platform as a creative outlet to develop films and built up his portfolios until he eventually started editing videos for companies like Bayer Pharmaceutical and Leo as well as working on different student films.
